Marketing your Content: 1. Creating A Promotion

To create a promotion in DigitalChalk:

  1. Navigate to the Promotions section in your under the Create menu
  2. Click on “Add Promotion”
  3. Choose the type of promotion (e.g., cross-sell, up-sell)
  4. Set the promotion details:
    • Dates 
    • Type
      1. Cross-sell – will appear in the shopping cart
      2. Up-sell – will appear on offering Marketing Pages
    • Promotion Title
    • Description
    • Any triggers
    • Applicable courses or offerings
  5. Preview and Save the promotion

Best practices:

  • Use clear, descriptive names for your promotions
  • Set appropriate time limits to create urgency
  • Consider combining promotions with email marketing campaigns
  • Monitor the performance of your promotions and adjust as needed

By creating well-designed promotions, you can effectively market your content and increase course enrollments.
