In this previous session, we focused on collaborative learning capabilities within the LMS through a real-world use case. We explored how features such as Instructor-Led Sessions, Discussions, and other collaborative tools can be combined to create engaging learning experiences that encourage participation, knowledge sharing, and learner interaction.
What We Went Over in This Session:
- An overview of the collaborative learning features available within the LMS, including Instructor-Led Sessions, Discussions, and related engagement tools,
- How to configure and manage Instructor-Led Sessions for both in-person and virtual learning experiences,
- Best practices for creating and facilitating Discussions that encourage meaningful learner participation and knowledge sharing,
- A walkthrough of a complete real-world collaborative learning use case from administrator setup through the learner experience,
- Strategies for combining multiple learning elements to create blended and collaborative training programs,
- Tips for increasing learner engagement before, during, and after instructor-led training,
- Common mistakes organizations make when implementing collaborative learning experiences and how to avoid them, and
- Recommendations for designing learning programs that foster interaction, collaboration, and long-term knowledge retention.
After reviewing this session, you’ll leave with a better understanding of how collaborative learning features work together within the LMS and how to confidently build engaging learning experiences that extend beyond self-paced content.
