In this previous session, we took a deep dive into the new Checklist element type and explored how it can be used to create more interactive, organized, and actionable learning experiences. Through real-world examples, you’ll learn how Checklists can help learners track progress, complete required tasks, bring on-the-job (OJT) training into the LMS as a workflow and stay engaged throughout their training while giving administrators greater flexibility in designing courses.

What We Explored in This Session:

  • An overview of the new Checklist element type, including its purpose, functionality, and key features,
  • Different ways to leverage Checklists to guide learners through required tasks, activities, and course milestones,
  • Best practices for incorporating Checklists into onboarding programs, compliance training, certification paths, OTJ training and other learning experiences,
  • A walkthrough of several real-world use cases demonstrating how Checklists can enhance learner engagement and course completion,
  • Strategies for combining Checklists with other LMS elements to create structured, interactive, and goal-oriented training programs,
  • Tips for using Checklists to reinforce accountability, improve learner organization, and simplify complex training requirements,
  • Common implementation mistakes to avoid when designing Checklist-driven learning experiences, and
  • Recommendations for creating clear, effective Checklists that improve the learner experience while supporting training objectives.
