Building and Launching Courses: Test Settings

To configure your test settings:

1. From the Courses list, click “Elements” under the course containing your test.
2. Find the test element and click on it.
3. Click on the “Config” tab.
4. Here you can adjust various options:
   • Forward Only: disallows the ability to go back to previous questions
   • Allow Changes: grants ability to change answers 
   • Immediate Feedback: shows any correct or incorrect feedback entered on questions 
   • Max Amount of Questions: limits the number of questions served per test attempt
   • Max minutes on test: Set a duration for the test if desired.
   • Passing Grade: Set the minimum score required to pass the test.
   • Shuffle Questions: Choose to display questions in a fixed or random order.
   • Review Last Attempt: Allow students to view previous test attempts
   • Show correct answers during review: Decide whether to show correct answers after submission.
5. Click “Save” after making your desired changes.

These settings allow you to customize the test experience for your students and align it with your course objectives.

Remember to preview your tests and surveys before making them available to students to ensure everything works as intended.
