Building and Launching Courses: Checkpoints

Checkpoints are interactive elements that allow you to engage students and test their understanding. To add Checkpoints to your chalkboard:

1. In the Chalkboard editor, click “Manager Checkpoints.”
2. Click the “+” button to add a new Checkpoint.
3. Enter a question or prompt for your Checkpoint.
4. Add answer or response options and mark the correct answer, as applicable.
5. Set the start time for the Checkpoint to appear during playback.
6. Add any consequences for success or failure of Checkpoint parameters. 
7. Click “Save” to add the Checkpoint to your chalkboard.

You can add multiple Checkpoints throughout your Chalkboard to keep students engaged and assess their progress.
