We’re excited to announce a powerful new feature designed to drive engagement, satisfaction, and visibility for your training programs: Social Certification Sharing is now available in the DigitalChalk LMS. Check out the short product demo video.
Whether you’re a continuing education provider or a corporate learning leader, this feature helps your learners celebrate their achievements and enables you to promote your brand in the process.
What is Social Certification Sharing?
Social Certification Sharing enables learners to share earned certifications and digital badges directly from DigitalChalk to LinkedIn and other social media platforms. These shareable credentials are more than just recognition—they’re powerful tools for personal branding, employer branding, and program promotion.
Each shared badge includes a clickable verification link that directs viewers to a credential validation page hosted by DigitalChalk, so anyone can confirm the achievement is legitimate and current.
Why It Matters for You and Your Learners
For Continuing Education and Customer Training Providers:
Attract More Learners: Learners will choose the CE provider that makes it easy to access and promote their credentials.
Build Brand Awareness: Every time a learner shares a badge, they’re promoting your course or certification program.
Boost Renewals: Learners are more likely to return to providers who help them stand out professionally.
For Corporate Learning Teams:
Drive Employee Engagement: Learners take more pride in programs that let them showcase their growth online.
Reinforce Employer Brand: Employee-shared badges highlight your investment in professional development.
Track Valid Credentials: Managers can verify team certifications easily, even in the field.
How It Works
Automatic Badge Issuance: Learners receive badges once they meet course or certification requirements.
Seamless Sharing to Social: Learners can share directly to LinkedIn and other platforms from within the DigitalChalk LMS.
Credential Verification: Each badge links to a verification page hosted by DigitalChalk to validate authenticity and active status.
Coming Soon: Even More Ways to Showcase Success
We’re already working on enhancements that take certification sharing to the next level:
Apple Wallet & Android Wallet Integration: Let learners carry certifications in their digital wallets—ideal for on-the-job validation in industries like construction or healthcare.
Credential Expiration Management: Admins will soon be able to set expiration dates for credentials. Expired badges will automatically appear as inactive or faded.
QR Code Badge Access: Learners can print QR codes linked to certifications—perfect for displaying on hard hats or ID badges in the field.
Real World Impact
Picture this. An employee completes an AWS certification through the DigitalChalk LMS and instantly shares the badge on LinkedIn. Their network sees their accomplishment and your brand. Or imagine a field technician at a construction site scanning a QR code on a coworker’s hard hat to confirm a valid safety certification, powered by the DigitalChalk LMS. That’s the kind of impact we’re enabling.
Ready to turn learner success into your next marketing advantage? Social Certification Sharing is now live and it’s included for all customers with digital credentialing enabled. Contact DigitalChalk support or visit our Help Center to get started.
Let’s celebrate your learners and your learning program together.
