Building and Launching Courses: Creating Spaces

To create a Space in DigitalChalk:

1. Log in to your DigitalChalk account.
2. Click “Create” or look for a “Spaces” option in the left navigation panel.
3. Click “Add a Space” in the top right hand corner of the page.

4. Fill out the Space details:
   • Name of the Space
   • Type (e.g., virtual classroom, physical location)
   • Description (optional)
   • Total capacity
   • Time zone (required)
   • Address (to help people navigate to the correct location)
   • Grouping (optional, e.g., by state, to help filter spaces)
5. Add amenities available in the space.
6. Optionally, upload a thumbnail image of the space.
7. Click “Save” to create the Space.

After creating a Space, you can edit its details, associate it with courses, and schedule Events within it.
