DigitalChalk allows you to set up recurring reports, which can automatically generate and send reports on a regular schedule. This feature is particularly useful for tracking ongoing progress or maintaining consistent oversight.

To set up a recurring report:

  1. Follow the steps to create a new custom report or edit an existing one
  2. In the “Schedule” section, select “Yes” to indicate you want to schedule the report
  3. Set a start date for when you want the recurring reports to begin
  4. Choose the frequency:
    • Select how often you want the report to run (e.g., every 5 days, 7 days, etc.)
  5. Select the “Run As” role:
    • This determines what level of data access the report will have

Additional tips for recurring reports:

  • Ensure that the email addresses for report delivery are kept up-to-date
  • Regularly review your scheduled reports to make sure they’re still relevant and necessary
  • Consider setting up different schedules for different types of reports (e.g., weekly for engagement metrics, monthly for course completion rates)

By utilizing recurring reports, you can automate the process of gathering important data, ensuring that you and your team always have the most up-to-date information without manual effort. Custom reports can be run on-demand or scheduled to recur at specified intervals. This feature provides flexibility in monitoring various aspects of your digital learning environment.
