Automations: 5. Override Notification

Override notifications in DigitalChalk allow you to customize and replace the default system notification (the Welcome Email) with your own tailored messages. 

User Welcome Email Override:

• This notification is sent to students when they successfully create an account
• It includes personalized login information for the new user
• Overriding this notification eliminates the need to send individual emails to each student when creating users on the administration side

To set up an override notification:

1. Navigate to the Notifications under the Create menu
2. Select the “Override” tab
3. Choose “User Welcome Email” from the options
4. Customize the email content as needed
5. Save your changes

By overriding the User Welcome Email, you can ensure that new users receive a personalized and branded introduction to your DigitalChalk platform.
