Building and Launching Courses: Creating Test Questions

To add questions to a test in DigitalChalk:

1. From the Courses list, click “Elements” under the course containing your test.
2. Find the test element and click on it.
3. Click on the “Content” tab.
4. Click “Add Question” from the task list.
5. The Question Type menu will appear. Select your desired question type (e.g., text choice, true/false, long text).
6. A window for that question type will be displayed. Enter the following information:
   • Question text
   • Answer options (for multiple choice questions)
   • Correct answer(s)
   • Point value (if applicable)
7. If you want to provide feedback for correct and/or incorrect answers, enter that information in the Feedback section.
8. Click the “Save” button when you’ve finished entering the information.
9. The question will now appear in your Questions list.
10. Repeat steps 4-9 to add more questions to your test.

You can edit any question later by clicking the three dots to the right of each question and selecting “Edit.”
