Building and Launching Courses: Tests and Surveys

Tests and Surveys are standalone elements you can add to your course. Here’s how to create them:

1. From the Courses list, click “Elements” under the course you want to edit.
2. Click “Add Element.”
3. Choose “Test” or “Survey” from the options.
4. Enter a title for your test or survey.
5. Click “Save” to create the element.
6. On the next screen, click “Content” to start adding questions.
7. Click “Add Question” and choose the question type (e.g., multiple choice, true/false, essay).
8. Enter your question and answer options.
9. For tests, mark the correct answer(s).
10. Click “Save” after each question.
11. Repeat steps 7-10 to add more questions.

Remember, tests are graded and can affect a student’s overall course score, while surveys are typically used for gathering feedback and are not graded.
